Grüner Veltliner Lamm
This is a powerful Veltliner – as profound as the loamy
soil from which it is sourced. A multilayered Veltliner with rich fruit aromas, flinty minerals, lots of grip, full-bodied and firmly knit,
with a very long finish and remarkable ageing potential. Terroir in a glass.
Due to its richness the Veltliner Lamm can accompany various spicy
meat dishes. It is also an excellent match for spicy Asian food as
well as dishes with offal or powerful cheeses – and naturally
lobster.
The Lamm is whole bunch pressed and then fermented exclusively
with natural yeasts at ambient temperatures. It is
matured in stainless steel tanks and large oak casks and remains on the fine lees through April. The wine is bottled in July
following harvest.
