Grüner Veltliner Heiligenstein
A showcase wine for Austria's classic white grape variety that comes from the loess and loam soils typical of the lower parts of the Heiligenstein vineyard which belongs to the village of Kammern. Fragrances of sweet vegetables and fruits mingle with elegant spice aromas; this wine is equally supple, substantial and satisfying.
A lovely companion for braised or breaded, pan-fried white meat and poultry, but also delicious with vegetables, especially asparagus.
25-year-old vines planted with a density of 4.500 vines per hectar. Yields: 40 hectoliters per hectar.
Vintage 2009
Subtle pepper on the nose with cool, mineral notes mingling with summer blossoms and exotic fruit nuances. Pronounced mineral character continues in the mouth and is accompanied by yellow fruit and wild summer herbs. Lingers long and fine.

Vintage 2008
Pale green-yellow. Yellow apple backed by smoky and spicy nuances with pronounced minerals. Subtle and elegant with ripe tropical fruit such as mango and papaya. Very harmonious and persistent on the palate. Already offering tremendous drinking pleasure, but still possessing superb ageing potential.

Equally ripe and youthful nose, dicreet creaminess, supple fruit, warm, elegant citrus aromas mingling with appealing herb notes; quite juicy
