HIRSCH Trinkvergnügen
Hirsch "Veltliner" is the perfect entry level wine to get to
know the Hirsch style: a vibrant easy drinking wine made from the
indigenous Austrian grape variety Grüner Veltliner. Sourced
from loess soils, it is light bodied, yet displays depth, charming
fruit, and the variety's characteristic spiciness.
HIRSCH 2011 Grüner Veltliner #1
(Trinkvergnügen #10)
The Hirsch "Veltliner #1" combines pure drinking pleasure
(“Trinkvergnügen”) with class.
Our unique Grüner Veltliner is now 10! Every vintage, this wine is released with an equally individual label, and this year, we have an illustration by Austrian caricaturist Michael Pammesberger – obviously true to the motto: HIRSCH of the year on cloud "green".
Everything’s there that makes up an exciting Veltliner: lots of spice, pepper, juicy going down and playful. Vinificated to its distinctive style, leaving a strong impression on the palate. Alexander Magrutsch
Hermann Botolen, Austrian top-sommelier, had a close look at our jubilarian and states: "Aromatic and crisp aromas of fruit with a spicy pepper finish, bright and single-toned in style, a classic and inspiring representative." Cheers!

HIRSCH 2010 Grüner Veltliner #1
(Trinkvergnügen #9)
Typical and beautiful Veltliner spicing, zesty, aromas of citric
fruits and green apples underscored with notes of pepper; a slender,
crisp and nervy wine with undertones of juicy fruits; Good bite,
extremely vibrant, exhilarating.
And same as it ever was
this bottle comes along with much dress sense. Agnieszka Baniewska, an Austrian-Polish
artist, did this year's artwork with a lot of cutting irony and
reference to Austrian culture – a wonderful collector's item
which perfectly fits the tradition of the entire HIRSCH
Edition.

designed by the Austrian artist and illustrator Christina
Gschwantner. Her artwork shows subtle humour und esprit at the
same time.
